Why no ephedrine or ephedra

Am I mistaken or was the ban on ephedra based fat burners lifted. If so why do the major sites for supplements not carry ephedra or ephedrine. I would prfer ephedrine hcl to make my own ECA. Does anyone know of any sites that sell ephedra or ephedrine as well as other supplements so I could get my fat burners, creatine, and protein all from the same place. Thanks
