    casein protein before bed?

    been doing some reading on casein protein, a slow digesting protein that is said to take 7-9hours to digest while sleeping. the reason this is important is that we dont have the luxury of 2hour 50gm protein meals while we are sleeping.

    -my question is for someone trying to stay lean, would it be worth it to take 50grams of casein protien before bed and sacrifice the extra calories that come along with it (230calories)?

    -If the extra calories would be a problem, wouldnt the extra muscle building nutrition and hasten recovery tme be worth the calories?

    i eat 2% cottage cheese everynight. if your worried eat some fat free cottage cheese. you ll be fine.

    Dude seriously chill the F-out =P 50g of casein digested over an 8 hour period will NOT have ANY IMPACT on your leanness =P (unless your eating way too many calories to begin with) and is actually a very smart idea...
