i want to know after all if ephedra has the same effects than ephedrine or no ?



i read on this site, they have almost the same effects and a few post farther, i read that s absolutly different and ephedra has the 1/10 of ephedrine effects.


so finally, what s the real answer ????

Herbal Ma Huang Ephedra is more powerful than Ephedrine HCL, by far. Standardized Ephedrine HCL is pretty powerful though and beats out any "ephedra" product where Ma Huang is not listed.

ephedra is simply the plant that ephedrine is derived from. ephedrine is the active alkaloids (the stimulants effects,etc) harnessed into one pill. Heres an example and the percentages probably arent correct but you'l get the idea: if ephedra leaf or plant has 2-5% ephedrine alkaloid in it, the rest of the leaf is worthless. ephedrine HCL store bought is just the alkaloid from ephedra and would probably be stronger. you'l save money on ephedrine then ephedra..... thats for sure.

at the beginning, i think ephedra was the translating of ephedrine, but now i m sure with all comments, that ephedra is (like i thought) the source of ephedrine hcl akaloids
