    question

    I wanted to know if I should take a protein shake right after my cardio?
    Or should I take my shake with some carbs. I am trying to cut.

    I wait about an hour after my cardio, unless I am training for a race. But I usually go with carbs. I make my own smoothies.

    why do you wait an hour until you take your shake an hour after?

    I'd have a shake with some flax or some other healthy fat...

    so how long after I do mornin cardio should I take my shake and should it be simple or wit carbs?

    Take it about and hour after cardio, your body will still be in fat burning mode. As soon as you get some sugar in your blood stream insulin will basically shut down fat mobilization for awhile until sugar levels in the blood normalize.
