I have been adding 2 scoops of wms/ 1 scoop dextrose/ 2 scoop whey protein together as my post workout shake.
My question is it ok to mix the wms and the dextrose for my carb replenish for pwo?

I don't see anything wrong with that!Actually the combination of these two carbs might give u better results
i dont think it would hurt to add the 2 together
but why bother? its kinda redundant...id stick w/ just wms![]()
I wouldn't. The "science" behind WMS, and any high molecular weight carbohydrate, is a molecular structure which allwed the WMS to bypass the stomach, thus, speeding absorption.
Dex does not have the same structure. One or the other.
I understand what you are saying about the wms... but wouldnt it be beneficial to mix the 2 carb sources (ex malto/dex) wms absorbs super fast and dex is next in line?
