the gains are pretty much based on your individuality. You might respond to one compound better then the other. So are the gains the same? Probably not.
In my opinion you would get better gains on mdrol, then any other desinger steroid that is still avaiable legally.

M-drol has more weight and strength gains
Epi has less sides.
