    Muscletech HALO: When should I take this?

    Just a quick question. I'm taking naNO Vapor prior to my workout. I lift weights for 1hr to 1 1/2 hrs depending on what day it is. After my weight workout I hit Cardio (HIIT) eitther on the treadmill or eliptiglider. Here's the question:

    The HALO instructions say to take this immediately after my workout. Now assuming that the HALO is replenishing the gylocogen in my body this makes sense. But I do cardio afterwords. The first two time I took the HALO after weight and before cardio. During the cardio I got bad cramps and couldn't perform to my maximum potiental.

    I Then thought "I will do weights and then cardio and take the HALO after my cardio". Is this too late to take the HALO product?

    Should I continue to take the HALO immediatly after my weight workout then wait to do my Cardio (I work out at night from 6pm to 8pm, gym closes at 9pm)

    What are your suggestions? Has anyone else experienced this?

    Why do you do cardio after you lift? Are you trying to lose weight, and not put any mass on?

    My main gaol is to burn fat. I started working out around APR 15th. I'm 6'0, 223lbs, 37 yrs old. I got down to 205 2 weeks ago, but now I'm back up to 212. I'm sure all this was due to water loss and muscle development. I'm really pleased with my progress on the muscluar side. I'm trying to get that 6pack. Right now I have 2 cans sitting on top of a spare tire!! LOL. anyway, this is why I go cardio after my workout.

    never muscle tech is junk. I bet you got it from GNC, so take it back and buy some creatine, protein, and BCAA. I bet you can get some of all of the above for the same price of one tub of Halo.

    You never do cadio right before you workout. always after or the first thing in the morning. Where you at in the city SoonerEye? I work at Integris Hospital at there gym.

    I do my cardio after I workout, not before. I'm going to change though. I'm going to do my cardio in the morning now. I've been having Insomnia issues. I think that finishing my cardio at 8pm my be keeping me up.

    I'm going to take that naNO Vapor back. Found my recipt.

    I'm stationed in Ft. Rucker.
