So I am lookin to put on some pounds and I was wondering if weight gainer helps any for someone who is 22, 150lbs and 5'10" (9% body fat as well)

as long as you take in more calories than you need (maintenance level), you will gain weight.
And yes, a weight gainer will help
I would make your own (its healthier and better)
Or look into CytoSport Cytogainer
or Russian Bear 5000

Do you happen to know any details of weight gainer? Like would I be gaining fat or muscle mass? Good for meal replacement? I don't know if I trust a lot of websites that talk about it. They are usually just trying to promote a product.

Be careful with them weight gainers as most of them are LOADED with sugar which is why they taste so good.
I can still remember the banana split flavor from when i was a kid , mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
