How many protien shakes do you typically drink per day? I'm drinking (2) shakes per day. One in the morning with breakfast and one post workout.

3 a day. 24 grams of Whey mixed with a pint of milk as soon as I wake up. 24 grams of Whey mixed in a pint of water straight after a workout. 26 grams of Casein mixed in a pint of milk with a small high protein meal straight before I got to bed.
I ususally drink 2 per day, but I try to minimize the amount of protein that I get from shakes so some days I drink 1 a day and get more protein from food.
Their was one time I was sick as a dog, and didnt want to lose muscle cause I was on cycle, and I couldnt eat nothing, so I forced myself really hard to drink 4 shakes and tons of food. I threw up so ill never drink that many ever again haha
for over a year now i havnt had any protein shakes. i used to drink 3 a day. i eat alot of food with protein in it. i have stayed the same size.
Personally I take two..pre & post workout, & the right amount really depends on the person, My goal is to get 200 grams of protein a day but i ended up taking less ..anyway supposedly your protien intake should be as much as your weight.
example: Power_of_youth weight: 195 lbs = 195 grams of protein

I ad about 15 grams of whey to most of my meals
a solid food source is best.
I, at most, take in 2 a day.
i take 2, 1 post w/o and 1 before bed.
I have 2 on training days and 1 on normal days.
My protein shake recipe is a little different though
4 eggs
2 scoops of cottage cheese
Honey
Milk
Ice
