    Muscle Milk

Is this stuff really that bad for you? Everyone i talk to says its like the worst protein you can take, not sure what to believe tho. Is it good for a PWO shake while cutting? I also saw they have muscle milk light which has about half the fat and about 100 less cal's per serving. What does everyone think about it?

Damn muscle milk is HORRIBLE, probably the worst taste and effects. Then again im not much for WHEY. The taste really sucks, Myoplex tastes BEST compared to muscle milk.

Yeah my info is only on TASTE.

Bad for you... why would it be bad for you? Not sure who told you that but thier wrong...

Not only is it prob the best tasting on the market hands down but its a very high quality product. Prob someone who doesnt understand what it is or why it has fat content (good fats) read the label and thought it was going to make them fat...

    Great stuff.

i would take it as a small meal during the day, after the work i would consume some isolate protein for fast absorbtion to the muscle.
as far as the taste from a self experince it was good no complains.

Yeah, I prefer Optimum Nutrition as well. I do drink the muscle milk from time to time, because the sell them at the gym. I think that they taste pretty good and I never heard that they were bad for you.

I think he is referring to the fact that it contains glycocyamine (link).

The article linked above has met with some criticism, but unfortunately I haven't found anything definitive either way.

To me it tastes great. However my body did not like and I put on a fair amout of body fat with it. Once I switched back to Optimum Nutrition 100% the fat dropped off. I liked it but it did not like me. The CytoSport Evo Pro also works great for me and tastes good. More expensive than the O/N.

tastes bad?? that sure is confusing to me, i picked up a tub of the cake batter and its definatley some of the better tasting stuff ive tried

this is the first time i got it and it was only because of sheer convenience and it was on sale, come to look at it later and i realized it has 12 grams of fat per serving which only gives u 32 grams of protein

i definatley wouldnt say its BAD for you, its whey protein, but yes there is way too much fat in it

taste great, but as for pwo, not so good. The fat content means slower digestion which means it takes longer to digest the protein. U need protein as soon as possible after your workout, I'd stick with a regular whey protein with some dextrose added to it for pwo shake
