I was wondering what you guys take pre workout? I was wondering taking protein before and after but, was thinking of taking NO explode pre and protein post. Also do you take BCAA pills before and after? Thanks in advance.

My 4th meal of the day is 2 hours prior to my workout, and that's all i need. Except for a energy drink just before i hit the door. Occasionally, i'll buy a protien drink at the gym and drink it on the way home, and eat half hour later.
I might invest in some of these bcaa's as i've heard some good things about them.

Honestly though I find it depends, I usually have a meal fish, tuna, chicken etc and rice about 1-2 hours before hand which usually does me. If I start to 'crash' mid WO ill have a bottle of powerade or some of those energy gel things (all glucose/dextrose). I keep em handy in my gym bag.

Breakfast or any meal. All my meals are pro-carb except the two last ones. I just make sure to add an extra fruit.
