Fish Oil
I read alot about the importance of including fish oil supplements into a body builders diet. This is why I take 1200mg/day but is it really a necessity? I feel like I can do without it. Does anyone here use it?

You can do without it. You can also do without painkillers after a root canal, but do you want to? Its up to you. It's good stuff and it's really good for you on multiple levels. Its not even that expensive. If it's not a big deal to buy it and take it then i'd say just take it. If it's a burden for some reason, then don't.

the only downide is those fishy burps that linger on all day...but aside from burps that smell like a seafood dumpster, its good stuff.

it's not good for just bodybuilders, it's good for everyone. If you look into ********* you will find that they link the ********* of our neural pathways (which caused us to be smart beings) from our ingestion of fish.
fish oil does wonderful things for the body. They are good fats that your body needs to have to build neural pathways and reduce inflammation. Many doctors treat arthritis with fish oils. Do a quick search on it. You'll be amazed what the research of it has shown.

I dont know how it works exactly, but it does work. Ask a psychiatrist about it, its commonly used to help with bipolar/manic depression... same with Vitamin E. A lot of psychiatrists use it on their patients with pretty good results in preventing mania or anxiety. There should be some medical journal logs about it some place... its pretty commonly used as a supplemental treatment against bipolar/manic depression.

The *****-3 fatty acids found in fish oil are made up of two main components—eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA). Both assist your brain in regulating emotions, which makes fish oil and ideal depression-fighter. The same DHA and EPA *****-3 fatty acids also help reduce high blood pressure and calm inflammation, so they’re also good for arthritis and joint problems. High *****-3 fatty acid intake also cut risk of age-related macular degeneration (a condition that steals your central vision), and reduce your risk of stroke and heart disease.
