What is the best creatine ( from experience ) that I can buy for a PCT supplement? I need it relatively cheap but effective- thats how i normally shop.

as of now, the only creatine anyone should spend money on is a micronized creatine monohydrate.

whats with ppl only recommending food? this is a supplement forum. go to the dieting forums if you don't have anything productive to add. no shit you should get most of the essentials from food, but only eating steak for creatine is just stupid.

Im taking size-on which has a new creatine-gluconated formula. Which basically says that creatine molecules attatch themselves to a glucose mol. and enter the cells by the same process as a normal glucose molecule and when separated is forced into the cells. Who f'ing knows, but Gaspari swears by it. I've also takin Creakic but don't get that, MuscleTech is ovverated and over-priced. I took Cre-Alkalyn, some other advanced form (however water retention is predominantly high) but I liked the effects. I say screw monohydrate.

Creatine doesn't work for me. I want a refund on the thousands I have spent on supplements in the last 4 years. I wish somebody would have clued me into the supplement business marketing machine earlier.
I find it doubtful that creatine does anything more than make the body retain water and exercise the kidneys.
Any increased "energy" could also be all the sugar that is in most of them.
It is all up for debate anyways. Save your money and go buy a food scale and start measuring your food portions and get your diet dialed in first. That will truly make a difference in your physique. Stop reading about supplements and go to the diet section.

Its from new england journal of medicine i believe (i actually heard it in an interview with the guy from bigger , stronger, faster - said only 60% of people responded and in varying degrees. That made sense to me since i and a few people i know tried it and didnt seem to experience any benefits.
Here is another link that states not everyone responds to creatine supplementation (says it in a couple places and explains conditions where it appears to be effective - also linked to NEJOM)) : http://www.sportsci.org/traintech/creatine/rbk.html
another interesting read;: http://www.labmeeting.com/paper/2830...tus-and-alsfrs
more info: http://www.officialfitnessandhealth..../creatine.html
It all depends on the individual ....so try it ...if it works great ...if not - why bother....
Oh btw - "advanced forms" are turning out to be BS marketing hype ......
ps - if the last 2 studies dont work - copy link location and paste in new browser window....
