    Amino acids

For some reason last night, I decided I needed to order some amino acids. I heard from a guy, who heard from a guy, who competes naturally and is ripped that when he diets down he definitely supplements with amino acids to hold on to muscle tissue. So, without doing any research, I just went ahead and ordered this*** and now I'm trying to figure out why. I guess it's not a big deal since it was less than $7, but is it gonna do anything for me?? I use ON whey protein, which has a good amount of BCAA's, so adding this couldn't hurt..right?

Yeah, I figured this much. ON Whey has enough BCAA's so these extra aminos will probably just get stored as fat if anything..

I beg to differ. Many whey supplements do not contain the amount or quantitiy of all the necessary amino acids vital for muscle growth.. I use twin lab amino fuel, have always had great results from it (along with many other supps) and in addition they contain about 5 mg of protein per 4 pills i believe... could be mistaken thou... I'd go with both bro, no harm.. plus you havent invested a whole lot anyway into the product.

If the don't have enough then take in more protein and be on a high protein diet. If the AA profile sucks then buy a different brand, very simple. Taking amino supps are USELESS.

honestly, you get enough amino's just by being omnivorous. But even I take extra amino acids. I bought a massive tub and it wasn't too expensive. I probably won't buy em again though.

take the aminos before you do early morning cardio in the fastest state. It will help preserve muscle without impacting your calories.

Shouldn't hurt but you just have to figure out how much BCAA's you really need to consume.
