Bio-Identicals

Does anyone have any thoughts about bio-identicals? My brother called today and we started talking about some stuff and he brought up that his buddy has been doing bio-identical treatments in Palm Springs. I guess his buddy gets Test and HGH from a doctor, goes home and injects himself. He goes back for blood work every so often and gets the dosage adjusted if needs be.

My brother said the tests are to ensure that you are only supplementing your bodies natural supply, rather then shutting your system down. Has anyone looked into this method? Just wondering if there are really no side effects if you just stop taking testosterone, and how do you guys think this compares to taking testosterone cream from a regular doctor?

Here is the doc that my brothers buddy is going to. He is paying $640 a month for testosterone, HGH, thyroid, natural supplements, and lab tests. It seems a bit high, but from what he tells me the guy is loving the results.

Of course he is loving the results, he's injecting hormones into his body. Thing is, $640/month is CRAZY. Also, the amount needed to benefit in a bodybuilding/powerlifting type situation is many times the physiological dose that your friend's friend or whatever is getting.
