not too sure about the whole endurance thing, but for post workout I use a whey protein shake with oats and occasionally throw in a banana. As far as supplements I use bcaa's for pwo personally. Hope this helps. Maybe someone else can elaborate a bit more on this...

The only prob w Creatine is the water retention associated w it. Try low doses of it, around 5 grams/day

I thought that creatine was useless for long distance training. I would try with 1g coffein, bcaa, glutammine, alanin, carnitin and vitamin-minerals pills. Also 60% carbs in the diet can help.

FRS. This product seems to help some, when I'm doing long runs...it takes a little longer to hit my wall. And when I do hit my wall, I find it easier to overcome. The problem with this product is that it's kind of expensive for what it does. I screwed up and got locked into some stupid auto-delivery program with this company, they gave me the run around when I would try to quit, so I had to get a new credit card to get them to stop charging me.

All that aside though, it's the only supplement I know of designed for endurance athletes. I have a few military friends who are big on running (30-40+ miles a week) and I let them try it out, and they had good things to say about it. That said, they weren't wowed enough to buy any of their own, so go figure.

It's Lance Armstrong's product, I think...it's basically just a bunch of fruits and vegetables concentrated to all hell, with a little caffeine.

I'm sure if you Google it, you can get a more detailed description.

Cool...just dont order directly from their site. Get it from bodybuilding.com or something, you dont wanna get locked into auto delivery like I did.
