Seems your most likely allergic to it. Try a protein blend instead of just pure whey. See how it works for ya.
How does it affect your stomach? Some of the proteins have digestive enzymes that can really help with that,
i'm getting serious diarrhea, and i've tried several brands. soy is easy on my stomach, but it's fairly low in protein (14g in three heaping scoops.)

Switch too BCAA's with added Leucine.
I had the same problem, now I'm ok.

what whey product are you currently using? I've gotten stomach discomfort from cheap-o whey concentrate before....
100% liquid egg whites are better then powdered egg proteins IMO
