Yes it is called time.....Once you get in your boot you can do some light upper body lifting...There are no supplements that are going to work wonders on your ankle....I have had ankle surgery before and went from 185 to 165 after recovery period (6 weeks no lifting)....It sucks but take it slow and easy and you can get back into it once you have recovered from your ankle surgery.....

Man that sucks, I know how you feel...I just got over a broken foot. You might try supplementing w/ Cissus as I have read that it helps w/ healing fractures. Do some research on it "Cissus".

Not to disagree with anyone, but the best "supplement" to help the healing process is staying on a good diet. Proper nutrition is key for repairing muscle tissue, and bone as well. This along with taking a good multivitamin, a Calcium and Vitamin D supplement, and I'd add in there an extra 2 grams of vitamin C a day.

Sounds pretty similar to what I did to my ankle two years ago. My surgeon recomended glucosamine w/ chrondroitin (sp?) and fish oil.
Also, as soon as my cast was cut off I was in the pool w/ a trash bag taped around my leg. Twice a day in the pool seemed to help alot. I was back at work, full duty no problems in four months.
