    novadex XT

    novadex xt by gaspari .. anyone know about or tried this anti aromatise test booster? i bought some and was told it was the grand daddy of the on the self test supps. i also read some stuff about sex drive crashing because of the lack of estrogen in the male body? can anyone tell me about any of this? i am looking for a test booster or prohormone , but i really dont want to ruin my sex drive is this possible? thanks guys.

    oh a litle background info just so you know: training 3 years ( 1 year seriously with strict regimen) been following ronnie rowlands slingshot training routine, with good steady results, starting to plateau again however. been on and off black powder NO2 and size on creatine for the past year in 6 week cycles. my diet is as follows, i get between 190-260g protein , 150 carbs , 70g fat/ day. i eat 4 good meals and 3 protien shakes each day. im 6'2 185-190lbs and pretty lean at about 7-8% body fat. ive been this wieght for a while, aside from the size on which i gained 11 lbs then went off and lost 9.


    im just looking for some advice ive been making steady slow gains and ive got te drive and determination to do whatever i have to do, i ve been reading up on gear and dont feel i know enough about it to try it yet. also id like to ease my way into things, so just wondering wha tthe next steo is for a guy in my position, also what are some suggestions for my to break my 185lbs curse lol... my metabolism is crazy fast and i know im probably not eating enough, i havent searched yet but if anyone knows off hand of a diet plan on this great site for a ectomorph i would be greatly appriciative thanks guys

    well I must say that you have your head screwed on straight because you came right out and said that you are here looking for advice. So many people open up their mouths before they think and they get thier buts chewed out here. Props bro...

    First of all novedex is garbage. Save you $$ for real supplements : whey and casein protein, multi vitamin, vitamin c, bcaas, triple omg 3-6-9, fish oil, l-arginine are just some of hundreds out there. This is what I and use on a daily basis.

    As fat as diet you need to find out your bmr/tdee. This is the basis of any diet. Check out in the diet section. Youll find it there. Honestly, I think that you can break your 185 curse just by changing your diet. Im proof!! Diet makes the world of difference. I learned the hard way, but Ive learned..
    Also, what and when you eat is important as well as your goals....

    All of those test boosters are crap(all supps imo). You're better off popping sugar pills. The only thing you should be buying at supplement stores are fish oils and BCAAs

    lol ok so the concensous (sp?) seems to be pretty much novadex is crap. well i bought them already, my friend who is a successful body builder here in canada recommended them to me, but i came out and asked which test booster i should take, so he didnt really say, try a test booster. anyways i got them and i opened them before i thought about anything, ya bad move, so im gunna take the bottle and see for sure. i did a little research and i can give some cold hard numbers because before i took them i was good enough to get a test level check and a SHBG level check. heh heh so with the average level of free test starting at 250, my level (taken in the morning) was 275, so im definatly on the low side of average but not enough for the doc to do anything. if i can figure out how to post a pic i will give a pic of my current state, and one a year ago, and one when i started... ive made some pretty good gains, i started at 143 (6'2'") and now i wieghed in today after a light snack at 187. im improving my diet after speaking with my body building friend, he said to add carbs and fats, bcaas, as you guys said. so well ill post my diet for tomorrow as a sample this is an average week day , oh and just a little back ground info, im a welder and i do lots of lifting and moving around all day so i burn more calories then most, combine with the fact im mostly ectomorph.

    530am- 40g whey protien, 2 pills flax seed oil (***** 3,6,9) , 46g carbs (gold medal carbs)
    8am - 3 eggs (21g protein) 1 muffin w/ jam - 1/3 cup mixed nuts ( 13g protien)
    10am - a fillet of breaded salmon (23g protien) 1 apple, 1 granola bar (26g carbs)
    12pm- 2 chicken breast sandwiches (deli meat- 36g protein) (whole wheat bread 60carbs)
    230pm - protein bar, 30g protien, 12 carbs, 1/3 cup mixed nuts, 1 apple
    430pm - granola bar 26 carbs, 1/3 cup nuts (13g protien)
    work out (no cardio btw)
    630pm whey protien shake(38g protien) + 46g carbs (goldmedal complex carbs) + 5 g glutamine + 2 flax seed pills
    8pm 2 chicken breasts (38g protien) + 1 cup frozen veges
    10pm - whey protein shake + gold medal carbs(46g) + 2 flax pills

    now i recently in the past week added the gold medal carbs powder to my shakes and also added the flax seed pills, i was onyl taking them after work out thats it before, now its as posted. sorry guys i guess i should have posted that in the diet section ... didnt realize, ill copy and paste and start a new thread, i just want to seek your opinons since you were good enough to offer your opinons already. and i will come back and post any results, good or bad from the novadex XT lol... although you guys wont be expecting much if anything... still ill have solid facts from the test results so it might as well be known right? so i guess from here ill post that diet and try and get it in check first. but i was wondering not right this minute but in the future i would like to ease my way into the supplement/ gear world of this great sport. any reccomendations from you guys on where to start, obviously the newbie sec for reasearch but just your opinons, like the pro hormone route? or just right into the intra muscular route (with proper research of course...) i was originally leaning towards test, however the water retention and how much it plays with hormones when you pct just scares me a bit. i dont want to lose sex drive. a good friend said test wasnt worth the side effects, he recommended anavar? any thoughts? thanks guys i appriciate your opinons and patience, im still new to this whole thing

    I've used novodex on it's own twice...

    Both times had some increase in acne, lethargy, noticeable body hair growth (my friend reports same)

    dosage directly affected gains, first time I took 4ed my friend took 3ed. Around week 3/4 strength and water retention shot up. Recovery majorly improved. Maybe some gain in mass. My friend didn't gain near what I did but he's 5 years older than me and I'm not so sure that novodex actually assisted me in gaining outside the norm.

    Next time I used 2 caps ED because of the level of sides. Slight acne increase, that's it. Other sides were minimal or maybe just in my head. Unsure if any gains, maybe strength increase but hard to say, nothing amazing.

    IMHO - novodex xt works... But it's not AAS or a PH and don't expect those kinds of results. price>gains but it's OTC in the states, so us Canadians can get it easier than AAS.

    4th week progress

    so im 4 weeks in, only got a few days left. definatly noticed about three times as much acne as normal... and sex drive kinda plummeted a bit.. however on the plus i noticed slight increase in muscle hardness and i seem to have a bit more "pop" then before when i flex, slight bit more vascularity as well. strength... mild gains, but honestly probably not anything to due with the novadex. oh and i had noticed a bit shorter of a temper in the agressiveness department. bit its not bad and im well aware of it so its controlled. but really as you guys said, its not worth the price, and i just dont think there is enough testosterone there to make any signifigant gains. the hardness is the only real plus to come out of it, but with the lack of sex drive, i definatly wouldnt do another run at it. Next will be another cycle of 'size on' and 'black powder' see if that nets anything, the size on alone netted 2 lbs last time, once i shed all the water wieght afterward.

    this may be for another thread but ive been researching anavar, and heard good things about it, i know its not a bulker, but id like to give it a whirl? anyone have any expiriances they would be willing to comment on? love to hear it.. thanks guys

    Yes that is another thread, not many people will find your anavar question at the bottom of a novedex thread. That being said... there are a sh!tload of anavar only cycle debate threads, look some of them up. If that doesn't get you anywhere post in the roids forum.
