Glucocyamine??? Good or Weider marketing garbage??
I just read an article in this months FLEX. THey are saying this pre-cursor to Creatine could be the biggest breakthrough since Creatine? What do you guys know about this supplement? They are saying you should add 2-5 grams to your creatine drinks before and after workouts.
Good stuff or anther marketing ploy from Weider??
"Glycocyamine might be the most significant advance in creatine supplements since creatine monohydrate was originally introduced to the bodybuilding market." (Flex Jan '03- Page 180)
Just looking for your thoughts and or input on this supplement. Not that I need to spend more on sups right now!
Thanks

Looking for glucocyamine (guanidinoacetic acid) and betaine
I've read about glucocyamine in the latest Natural Bodybuilding and was referred to syntrax.com but there was nothing on their site about it. Apparently only 10% of users are non responders compared to 25 % of creatine users. The liver actually produces creatine fron glucocyamine but depletes the system of methly's so supplementing at 4 parts betaine to 1 part glucocyamine is the prefered method of absorbtion. I am still unable to find a source though. Any help would be apprieciated.
