BCAA vs. Liquid Amino's....?
What is the difference between BRANCHED chain Amino Acids and Liquid Amino's?
Which would be superior and Why?
I was reading a diet program that suggest meal supplements 4 times a day...taken together with BCAA....
thanks in advance thanks for your constructive input....

I'm pretty sure "liquid aminos" is just BCAAs in liquid form. You can get them in powders, capsules, liquids...etc

^^
Actually that is not true.
Liquid Amino's typically contain much more AA than branched chain which typically only contain 3 AA.

Liquid aminos suck. You get a bunch of aminos in their simplest form. They cost 10x more than standard protein and won't provide any additional benefits. BCAAs are leucine, isoleucine, valine. A very beneficial supplement unlike liquid aminos.
Umm absolutely NOT.

Here's some more info of mine on liquid aminos and why they are a terrible supplement.
One huge reason is due to competitive inhibition between the amino acids. Amino acids absorb via carrier mediated transport, in other words active transport and is done through specific carriers. When neutral amino acids are in a large quantity in the small intestines competitive inhibition occurs due to side-chain size and how it interacts with transport characteristics. Neutral amino acids with large lipophilic side-chains (ex: leucine) have a higher affinity towards absorption. The absorption of these "stronger" aminos is extremely powerful and will block the absorption of virtually all the other neutral amino acids and will continue until these other stronger amino acids are depleted. Acidic amino acids are in general inhibited by the neutral amino acids.
Peptides on the other hand bypass all this inhibition because there isn't any super saturation of the amino acid carriers in the small intestines and some peptides can also be directly absorbed by specific carriers. This would be most similar to whey protein ingestion.
The next big issue is price, this shit is a complete ripoff for the amount of grams of aminos you get! Twinlabs 32 fl oz bottle of Amino Fuel for example costs $16.99 (internet price), has 14g of protein per serving, and only 21 servings. On average we take 30-40 grams post workout, this product is advertised as a pwo supplement. You will need 2.5 servings to get an adequate amount of protein. On the other hand you can buy gold standard whey get 77 servings, 24g of protein per serving, and cost $39.99. This product will reap much better results and costs siginificantly less.
Price per gram of protein:
Gold Standard - $0.0216396103896104
Amino Fuel - $0.0577891156462585 - 2.7x more expensive
