    Ephedra extract?

    A friend of mine just bought a supplement which she thought contained ephedrine. But this is what the bottle says

    "*****contains EPHEDRA EXTRACT. Ephedra extract is derived from the same plant as ephedra. However, the ephedrine alkaloids have been removed from ephedra extract, ensuring its legality. Ephedra extract is legal in the US and is a safe, effective supplement to help support weight loss. Any product containing ephedrine alkaloids were banned in the US in 2004."

    Is this stuff any good?
