    Yeah...of course you need protein. But you also need other stuff, complex carbs, BCAAs...etc

    EAA's with BCAA's would be better with maltodextrin or glucose and some vitamin C to prevent oxidative stress.

    After all you have an amino acid pool of about 4 hours in your liver from the last meal you ate that is sitll digesitng. The main goal however is to get insulin high and replace lost glycogen from exercise..

    for sure mate. whey protein is a faster absorbing protein, so it'll be good for after workout supplement.
