I don't currently use a weight gainer, I use whey after workout and casein before bed. if you go for a weight gainer make sure it isn't one packed with sugar and empty calories

ok thanks ill shop around and if I find one that looks promising I'll post it here. In the meantime, if anyone has had some nice success with a specific brand feel free to share.

You can make your own with a good solid whey protein powder base. You can add milk,,yogurt,,fruit,,peanut butter,,etc..
If you buy one I like Cytogainer.

    X2

I only drink shakes PWO (whey) and right before bed (casein). Look at the label closely on the weight gainers. A lot of them are loaded with sugar and the servings per jug are low. You won't get many shakes out of them. I'd stick with whole foods. The last weight gainer I saw at a common nutrition center had 5 servings in the 3 lb jug, only 50 grams of protein, 300 carbs and a ton of sugar (I mean a ridiculous amount) per serving. There are plenty of meals that are loaded with carbs, protein an minimal to no sugar. Good luck bro.
