    jack3d

dont usually go for hyped products like this but after reading a good number of good reviews here, i bought some. first 10mins of training left me less than impressed, 10mins later i felt nausia coming on intensely, 10mins before my session ended i felt the drive and focus building up and 20mins after my session i was buzzing.

    1. do most feel sick from this stuff?
    2. i took it one hour before session, should i be taking it 1.5-2hrs beforehand?

    1. Nope.
    2. 2 hours before? I wouldn't recommend it. That stuff absorbs quicker than you think

If it's not going well I'd discontinue immediately.

I love it. It definitely makes me nauseous though. I think I'm going to start taking it with a longer duration between consumption and when I start my workout, as I often feel the energy towards the end of my workouts or after as opposed to during the workout when I need it most. I feel energized and almost euphoric after. I've tried lots of supplements over the years and this is one of the few where I can feel tangible results immediately.

FYI, I use 2 scoops about 15 min prior to hitting the gym. Gonna try 45 min before hitting the gym and see how that goes.

Also, the vitamin shoppe near me is always sold out of the grape flavor one that everyone raves about, so I'm stuck with the tropical punch one that tastes horrible. I wasn't sure if it was the product or the taste that was making me nauseous.

lol, well everyone's tastes are different. I don't like even normal tropical punch, let alone a supplement flavored like it. The grape one is supposed to taste like koolaid though.

i find it a little weird the tropical punch was like a yellow color idk i always think of it as being more of a red color lol but who cares. When i dont feel like mixing it up i just put water in my mouth and put the powder straight in my mouth and take a scoop or two like that and just drink a bottle of water afterwards or on the way to the gym or something

You can make your own "jack3d" for about 1/3 of the cost the USP costs.

It is not a secret formula and contains ingredients that are readily available.

Hype is def. worth it in my opinion. Best pre-WO supplement I've tried.

Only problem was it made me bloated. My brother reported the same, but I haven't heard anyone else say it.

    Maybe genetic.

It's the 10g's of CM that it contains that made you bloated.

Jack Owoc’s Real White Paper! - Muscle Marinade Madness

    Muscle Marinade Madness

    First, let’s define “White Paper”
A white paper is supposed to be an authoritative scientific technical report. Unfortunately, white papers are now used as documents used by businesses as a marketing and sales tools. In all my years of research and development this is the first time I’ve seen a PhD bastardize the integrity of a white paper by misusing it as a marketing tool.

Therefore, in regard to Muscle Marinade a white paper is just a marketing “sales tool”. And, further in the case of Muscle Marinade it is a shameless attempt to get you to purchase a product with ZERO scientific backing and riddled with non-scientific hype!

Second, who is Purus Labs that makes Muscle Marinade?
Purus Labs is one of the biggest black market dealers of bogus steroids in America unlawfully operating as a supplement company. They are using the money made from illegal sales of black market steroids to now manufacture cheap low grade supplements. Below is an e-mail that was circulated by a representative of Purus Labs attempting to increase sales of anabolic steroid cocktails: “Epol is also another great seller, it’s a combination of Superdrol & Tren . The majority of our products are a combination of a precursor (prohormone) plus an actual hormone; whereas most companies only have pre-cursors”.

    From: Ashley Faulkner
    Sent: Monday, November 02, 2009 5:26 PM
    To:
    Subject: Purus Labs
    Hi,
My name is Ashley Faulkner; I am the national sales manager for Purus Labs. I have attached cut sheets for the entire Purus Labs line. Our line has a great presence in the south and midwest regions and we are gaining momentum in the north. If you have a lot of requests for Spawn, our M 14-E is a great replacement and has double the Epistane of Spawn. Epol is also another great seller, it’s a combination of Superdrol & Tren. The majority of our products are a combination of a precursor (prohormone) plus an actual hormone; whereas most companies only have pre-cursors. Everything about our company is cutting edge and high quality from the formulations down to the packaging. We have a lot of support on websites and in retail stores. However, I do monitor the website pricing two times a week to make sure they are not selling below our designated MAP pricing. I would really like to work with you on bringing Purus in and can put together a great deal for you. Please let me know what I can do to get on board with your company. I look forward to doing business with you!

Unfortunately, these renegade drug dealing supplement companies have put our industry in great jeopardy. This is clearly evident by Senator John McCain’s press release this week to pass a bill that would radically alter DSHEA and turn the supplement industry upside down.

We have to take action and police our own industry. Anybody purchasing products from Purus Labs is partaking in behavior that will inevitably lead to the demise of our great dietary supplement industry. Yes, even if you personally, your store or gym or distribution center purchases a product like Muscle Marinade (that does not list steroids in the ingredient profile), you are:

Supporting clandestine drug labs and dealers.
Maybe purchasing supplements cross contaminated with anabolic steroids .
Maybe purchasing product purposely infused with anabolic steroids and or other drugs --Do you honestly think that a drug dealer cares if your supplements are cross contaminated by air born steroids or steroid residue from unclean manufacturing equipment? Do you honestly think that an anabolic steroid dealer wouldn’t purposely spike their Muscle Marinade with steroids?
McCain desires to radically alter DSHEA mostly to protect athletes from testing positive from taking adulterated dietary supplements. Therefore, Purus Labs and others like them need to be shut down NOW before McCain and other doping agencies attempt to shut down are entire industry!

You will notice that the Muscle Marinade white paper vehemently defends and justifies the use of the cheapest raw materials and bashes any raw materials that cost more than cheap Chinese creatine! It bashes COP (Creatinol-O-Phosphate) because COP cost roughly 20 times that of low grade creatine monohydrate. It also says that COP is NOT creatine which is scientifically inaccurate. Chemically speaking COP is deoxy-Creatine-O-phosphate. The author fails to understand chemical nomenclature and the power of such a unique bodybuilding and performance enhancing compound. The author further has failed to perform an exhaustive search of the available scientific database in regard to COP.

Creatinol-O-Phosphate, in addition to its cardio-protective effects, has been has also been shown to improve muscle development and increase the capacity of a muscle to perform physical activity. In one study, hand-grip strength was improved by Creatinol-O-Phosphate administration and while remaining unaffected in a placebo group (Nicaise J. Creatinol O-phosphate (COP) and muscular performance: a controlled clinical trial. Curr Ther Res Clin Exp. 1975, 17(6):531-4). Moreover, in another study conducted in elderly subjects, it was found that Creatinol-O- Phosphate improved muscular performance as compared to controls (Cavalieri U, Quadri A, Ghirardi F. Effects of creatinol o-phosphate on the muscle function of elderly people. The T! herapeutic Clinic. 1974, 69: 215-223).

These scientific references clearly indicate COP’s ability to increase strength and muscular performance that the author failed to include in his Mental Marinaded Madness!

Creatinol-o-phosphate was discovered and by a researcher by the name of Shotte in 1928 who observed its structural similarity to creatine. In vivo COP is similar to creatine in some ways and differs in others having unique and very interesting intrinsic properties! True legends in their own mind--self proclaimed internet gurus have erroneously concluded that, “if you look at the structures (of COP) you can easily tell it's just not creatine” because these chemistry challenged clowns have compared a creatine monohydrate molecule to COP rather than comparing COP with creatine phosphate. Therefore, these internet idiots have concluded that the molecular structures of creatine monohydrate and creatinol-o-phosphate aren’t similar—of course they are not similar in appearance because creatine monohydrate lacks a phosphate group. COP and creatine phosphate are very close in appearance because both compounds have a creatine and a phosphate group. Well neither does Fergilicious’ back side look like Jack Kavorkian’s; yet, Fergie’s backside has striking similarities to J-Lo’s -- no different that Creatinol-O-Phosphate’s striking similarities to Creatine Phosphate. And, that is because Creatinol-O-Phosphate is really DeoxyCreatine-O-Phosphate meaning structurally there is only one Oxide atom difference between COP and Creatine Phosphate and, therefore, can be oxidized into creatine. It shares a highly similar molecular structure to creatine phosphate and is believed to be synergistic with other creatine salts as proven with the finished product, NO-Shotgun®. Human subject studies performed at Baylor University prove that NO--Shotgun yields an unprecedented 515% increase in muscle gene proteins and 1,600% increases in muscle DNA –cutting edge science that the Muscle Marinade author fails to mention that is published scientific journal data!

COP, aka N-Methyl-N-(beta-hydroxyethyl) guanidine O-phosphate (creatinol O-phosphate) has proved to possess anti-ischemic (i.e. keep oxygen levels healthy) and anti-arrhythmic (keeps heart beating with more rhythm) activities associated with improved ionic balance and heart performance. These activities are more evident in pharmacological and clinical conditions involving a hypoxic damage of the heart muscle. When injected i.m., pharmacokinetic studies have shown that absorption of COP to be complete. COP is distributed in all organs, and in particular, in the kidney, liver and heart muscle. The results of the toxicological studies confirm that COP has no side effects and seems to be well-tolerated.(1) In fact, the action of creatinol-O-phosphate on the recovery of heart muscle contraction ability after ischemia (i.e. loss of oxygen) has been shown; thus, creatinol-O-phosphate could exert its cardioprotective effect by an action on anaerobic glycolysis according to one report.(2) As far as the safety of it in humans, the acute clinical tolerance to COP was investigated in volunteer human subjects without heart or renal disease and without other serious illness. COP was administered i.v. at three different dosages, 1020 mg (group A), 2040 mg (group B) and 3060 mg (group C), in comparison with a placebo (group D). Arterial pressure, heart rate, ECG pattern and a complete blood analysis showed no change at any COP dosage, with the exception of blood phosphate, which increased in groups B and C. Cumulative urinary excretion of phosphate and creatinine and diuresis increased (i.e. they urinated more), whereas other urine parameters did not change. Therefore, COP proved to be a very well tolerated drug without any evident side effect.(3) Other studies have that COP improved rhythm disturbances, chest pains and symptoms of contractility failure.(4) COP is an intercellular buffer (a characteristic similar to that of beta-alanine) and increases anaerobic glycolysis allowing you to train longer, harder (past typical sticking and failure points) and improving eccentric contraction – the negative movement in resistance training proven to be the most effective for building muscle!

In conclusion, this is just support for one of the compounds that the author bashes in his “white paper” misuse and abuse. The bigger picture is that we as an industry have to police ourselves and shut Purus Labs down immediately before new legislation is enacted that will destroy the ethical and outstanding companies of the dietary supplement industry! The exceptional companies and leaders of high moral and ethical character that make up 98% of the dietary supplement industry need to take a united stand against the dopes and dopers whose selfishness and lawlessness threaten to destroy our industry.

Finished a tub of Shotgun and then switched over to Jack3d. I like Jack3d much better and I'm only doing 2 scoops rather than 3. Takes about 45 minutes for me to really get going though. This weekend I took it along with a Kre Alkalyn supplement and had a unbelievable workout.
