    Bloating with Creatine???

I asked this question earlier in the Creatine FAQS sticky. It doesn't seem like anybody really responds on that thread anymore. But heres my post....

I have a higher body fat %. I took creatine for years while playing football (I was about 30 pounds lighter then too) Just wondering if 100% Creatine Monohydrate would still be a viable option for me? I've heard it causes bloating from the additional water weight. Is this true??

I've looked online everywhere trying to figure this out. I workout 4-5 times a week. I'm currently drinking a protein shake a day. So I figured I would mix some flavorless creatine in with that. Just looking for anyones opinion.

More than likely if you are bloating on creatine you are taking way to much or your diet isn't up to par. Try taking 5g a day for a couple weeks and see how it treats you. Make sure you drink plenty of water throughout the day.
