    supplements while dieting

    Here are the supplements i am taking Amplify xl platinum protein blend, Mega men extreme athlete, AMP pre-post training pak.

    I was going to go pick up some casein but i figured i would get on here and see what brand other people are useing and why they are using it. So let me know guys.

    Is there anything else i should add in there?

    It is in my protien so anything else? anyone? I wish thinking of adding fish oil in with it

    I am a big fan of fish oil. I'd say add it. Just make sure that you're counting for it in your daily intake. Most fish oil is 9-10 calories per pill

    Okay just got back from GNC and picked up a few items

    Gold standard 100% casein

    Triple strength fish oil

    Tonalin censor

    cellucor D4

    Yes protein supps do contain BCAA's but taking BCAA's seperate (either in between meals or 30 min prior) from meals or protein shakes is far superior. When taken this way the BCAA's are absorbed by the body at a much higher rate.

    Okay so i got on a few sites and looked up some BCAA's and holy crap there are alot. Which one would you reccommend and why? Also i read you can take it before/during/after a workout. What time is the best? Can you mix it with your protien shakes?

    I get mine at trueprotein.com. I get the Leucine 4:1:1 sweetned with stevia in orange cream sickle flavoring (make a note for them to go heavy on the flavoring). You can buy them by the lb. and they're relatively cheap. I take 10g upon waking, 10g preworkout, and 10g pwo. No you do not want to combine them w/ your protein shakes (remember what I discussed about absorption above). Just mix them with about 8oz. water and toss them down the hatch.

    Okay i didnt nothing but really research about this stuff and i seen that you can take it inbetween meals, before/during/after workout. Would that be okay? I have a protien shake with a cup of dryed oats mixed in, fat free yogurt, cup of oats, 1 slice of whole wheat bread. Then i do a hour of cardio that is why i pack on the carbs in the morning.
