Dhea?

Is DHEA really considered a over the counter testosterone ? I have read good things about this but what are your thoughts on it overall? I want to add it to my regime. Any advice is much appreciated! More so trying to harden up and shred up for the spring. Currently using a eca stack, extend, fish oil, multi and good diet.

I've never taken it, but from what I understand it isn't very effective. Taking DHEA orally doesn't elevate DHEA levels in the body.

This is not quite right. DHEA doesn't have problems absorbing into the body. It raises androstenedione levels (a precursor to test). However, this doesn't actual result in increased test levels.

dhea ...converts to andro ......which converts to test ...
Thats how it works in the body.
So in theory sounds good..up dhea = more test - but it doesnt work that way. So unless you are older and have low levels, use of dhea is essentially useless for boosting test.

I'm taking 200mg per day of DHEA along with some other stuff and my natural test levels have increased significantly.

dhea wont do shit unless your levels are low for example on cycle or in pct.
