Protein Powder from Costo - Good as the name brands?

I've been buying my protein powder from Costco from the past year, and it's more or less a no-name brand, it says "Whey-Isolate" and comes in Plain/Chocolate/Vanilla. There are 110 Calories, 35g of protein, and 1g of Carbs per scoop. My question is this powder any different from the big brand names, and how would there be a difference in quality besides taste? Furthermore, does anyone have any experience with "Muscle Milk" products?

Is it the wellements brand? I have been buying this one from costco and the one difference I noticed was the amount of cholesterol that it has. It has alot of cholesterol compared to the others.

The difference can be very large in the quality of them.

But also... most generic manufacturers are very lax with what they put on their labels.

The actual amount of protein you may be getting, may not be equal to the label or to other products.

And their processes are usually done cheaply.
Leading to most generic proteins to cause gastric discomfort. (bloating, gas, etc)

But if it works for you... then by all means.. use it.

Thanks for the information. I Have never experienced bloating or gas and the name brand says "Kaizen" for my Chocolate Flavor and "LeanFit" for the plain flavor. Also, the label reads 0 Cholesterol and 50 mg of Sodium. It also contains a variety of amino acids. For my second question, does anyone use or use to use MuscleMilk protein powder? The local health food store (Only other place that sells protein powder in my area) has quite a few name brands. I've heard good things about MuscleMilk & Myofusion which is why I ask. Is there any other name brand I should look out for ? Money is not an issue. I would buy online however shipping into Canada is so expensive and slow so I'd prefer to get something nearby if possible.

Products like muscle milk seem to be filled with sugar and maltodextrin...i tend to stay away from these products.

Id say for the most part, protein is protein. Ill spend more money on ON or Dymatize for the simple fact that it taste better and mixes well.
