Anyone make their own Protein/weightgain bars?

I'm starting a new job soon and will have minimal breaks to eat. I need to be able to keep something in my pocket that I can grub on ever so often on the job site. Buying protein bars can get pretty expensive. If any of you have any good recommendations/recipes, I'd greatly appreciate the insight. Taste isn't much of an issue. As long as is doesn't taste like dog crap, I'm happy. Suggestions on how to pack alot of calories in them would be appreciated also. I know I can find some good recipes on the internet, but I'd like to hear some of your person oppinions as I trust this site and alot of its member opinions. Thanks all

    I have and it's awesome!!

I scoop of 100% whey protein(it should be one made with at least half or all whey isolates and contain 20 to 25 gms of protein PER SCOOP!!) 1 or 2 gm sugar
8oz. of soy milk(plain or vanilla) 8gm protein and 10 or 12gm of sugar
1/3cup of milk powder 8gm and protein 13gm sugar
    2 or 3 egg whites 4gm protein
    2 tbs peanut butter(optional) 8gm protein, 3gm sugar, 15gm fat
    sprinkle of cinammon

This is about a 60gm shake w/ protein coming from 5 different sources. If you remove the scoop of whey protein then it goes down to 35gm. If you lose the milk powder then it will have 13 less sugar. Ultimately this is a perfect meal replacement shake or recovery shake. It taste great and the cinammon acts as a thermogenic.
