Feel like crap after ephedra and worse now after ebol/dicana..

Not too sure what is happening but i ran ephedra/caffine few weeks ago and ended up in the ER. Ever since then my body seems to have changed. Most nights i feel these:
    - Deep Breathing
    - Rapid Heart Rate (esp when i stand up after lying down for sometime)
    - Ears popping
    - Dry mouth / dry gums / low saliva production
    - Light headedness
    - Lots of Burping
    - fatigue
    - loss of strength

It is pretty low most of the time but started again few days ago to a large extent once i started an e-bol & dicana stack. I've done a lot of supps & real gear too and everything was perfect until i touched that epehdra. Not sure if ebol/dicana will contribute to this too?

Diet is low carbs, high protein.... anyone have similar experiences or similar feelings? I actually feel like i'm going to drop dead anytime!

i would stop taking all supplements immediately and try to go back to a "normal diet" if you can. give yourself a break for a bit until this passes, your body will love you. take a week off the gym and cardio, carb up and try to get all the proper nutrients you can from your diet and go from there. it could of been many things but maybe to much or bad dose of ephedra as i have experienced some of those listed when using ephedra but never for a long period of time.

never heard of any of those sides from Ebol/Dicana stack as it is pretty mild as far as side effects go, typically little to none are reported but i did occasionally get dry mouth. i would suggest stopping all supplements and recooperating, then slowly one by one add in a supplement and see if you can pinpoint which one is making you feel like crap or it may have been an underlying problem or what. best of luck bro

Ok so i know it's not the ebol/dicana, haven't touched it for 2 days & today i almost fainted again.... It happened after an intense workout... legs started feeling numb, heart was beating fast, was feeling very tight around my jaws/cheeks... it became better only after i ate some cold tomatoes & wet my whole body with cold water...

Could be a blood sugar or blood pressure issue maybe? But whatever it is, it started only after that ephedra! dam that herb!

    I've experianced:
    - Deep Breathing
    - Rapid Heart Rate (esp when i stand up after lying down for sometime)
    - Dizzyness/ Faint

From low blood pressure and being realtively fit.

And you said you had dry mouth, maybe drink more and intake more salts.

I'd rather see a doctor to find out personally if i was you.

how many mg's do you take per day? And how many mg's do the rest of you usually take per day? Include your height and weight as well.

Bro, you could be allergic to that stuff (ephedra). I had the same reaction when I was prescribed Naprosyn (Naproxen or Alieve) 500mg. I stopped taking it and felt much better.

Also, do you work out on an empty stomach? Try eating a slice of toast or something light 20 to 30 minutes before working out. Also, switch over to a pre-workout drink instead of the ECA stack.

good to here it wasnt the Ebol/Dicana ... you can save that for later the RR in Ebol, when used at a tolerable dose, usually gives people a good sense of well-being ... just dont overdue the dosage or it will do the exact opposite.

update bro! have you subsided from using all supplements at this point? ... getting better or worse? need some more information to help you out but cease using all supplements as of now.

The only awkward thing ive ever experienced from it is neck and upper back stiffness. I can really feel the stiffness when i try and crack my neck, its just uncomfortable. its not a huge setback just an inconvenience.

No, i'm a guitarist. rattlehead is a heavey metal song. man music, something you'd know nothing about, boy. Rattlehead as in "head banging", it's a play on words. but i'm sure you got that one.

Well i didnt take much, only 4 tabs of 25mg each, pure alkaloids (this was the one banned few yrs ago) + 200mg caffine with each dose. And that was enough to cut my vision and make me faint, ended up in the ER. I have done so many supps (from superdrol to halodrol to epistane to even real gear many times) and nothing ever did anything to my body (except hairloss) until i touched ephedra, so strange...

But here' the thing - this happened 20 days ago. I stopped it after that, but until today my heart has not recovered! It goes crazy if i dont drink a lot of water or if i workout really hard. This never happnened before. i could skip water for a whole day and be normal.

So this is exactly what is happning now:
    1) Dry mouth / Low saliva production
    2) Rapid heart rate + deep breathing
    3) Ears popping / ear pressure - esp. right ear
    4) Lightheadedness / dizziness / fatigue (only after heart rate increases)
    5) Slight numbness in calf muscles & top of head - only once
    6) Lots of burping. - After i burp out then heart rate seems to go down and i feel more enegetic so for some reason air is getting stuck in the stomach and putting pressure on the heart.

I'm guessing something went wrong in the body after taking ephedra, I'm sure it will be one of these conditions:
    -Sinus
    -Stomach ulcer
    -Palpitations / Arrhythmias
    -Aerophagia / Gastroesophageal reflux
    -Blood sugar issue
    -Blood pressure issue

Going to get shit loads of blood test done next week so let's see...

I hate uppers, so when i take it I only take 25mgs/day. I haven't had any serious problems, just a stiff neck that i can kinda feel in the bones, I dont even know if its from ephedra but Im pretty sure it is. IMO you were taking a lot, I'd of probably had a heart attack if I took that much, Im real sensitive to uppers, you may be too. Everyone reacts differently to supps.

Well even if i am allergic to it the effects shouldn't last this long. It is out of the system already so 20days later why feel the effects?

Went to the doc today, he was not able to figure out what is wrong. BP was 130 over 90, a bit high? Also i just noticed the entire inner portion of my nose (as far as i can see inside) is red, like the skin has vanished and blood has dried up there. And ican feel some blockage in the nose, breathing is not 100% clear...

oh well i'm waiting for the blood test results!

Shit, all the blood results came back negative, so this means i still have no idea what is wrong. But i know my BP is shooting up, was 153 over 80 today. In the morning i could barely walk, had to eat shit loads of carbs& drinklots of water to gain energy, strange since i ate properly last night...

I have a feeling that bottle didnt contain ephedra but something else in it. Might see if i can visita cardiologist and get mri done..

**** man, u can always send some of the pills to a lab to get tested if you have some. if you want some good independent labs and i maybe can get you a decent price ill check into it, i know we use some really good labs so im sure they cant test it for you. also, check your source for ephedra and ask them, email the company, and from now on stick to CVS for the ephedra and buy Bronkaid or Primatene. better yet, dont use ephedra anymore.

sorry to hear this bro, i hope everything turns out okay. i had something like this happen to me but not with the severity that you are experiencing. you have stopped using all supplements correct? this includes multi, creatine, ephedra, anti-oxidants, etc.

I have a question now about Ephedra/Lipoflame. Ephedra has been giving me some neck problems, its just too bothersome. I don't know much about lipoflame so I want to ask you all this question. Do any of you see any problem with me stopping ephedra today and starting lipoflame instead tomorrow and just finishing my cutting with Lipoflame instead?

RATTLEHEAD-> I would stop it if i were you. Today i realise what a big mistake i made by touching this supplement.. my whole life has changed!
How mch ever possible try to be as natural as possible. I did shit loads of supps in the past and thought nothing will effect me until now...

I threw the pills when i was in the ER, they took the pills from my home when they came to take me to the hospital.

Now i am sure what is happening but now sure why. So the thing is:
    1) MY BP is high, was 165 over 85 today. Has been 130+ ever since the Er visit. This is causing the red nose and the ear pressure, esp in my right ear, feels like it is going to burst open. Also causing my body to get all tight.
    2) If i dont burp out air then my heart starts to beat fast which leads to dizziness.

Now the Q is why is the BP getting high! Diet is clean, exercise is normal, i am slim.. no health issues ever until i took this supplement. Also why is gas getting stuck in the stomach and causing the heart to go up!

I took this brand - "Lean 20 Ephedrine 60 ct by Webber Pharmaceuticals" so i doubt the product is bad since the company is good.

supps effect everyone differently, it might be something genetic. Also, I am kind of a hypochondriac and Ive actually thought about certain "illnesses" i thought Ive had and started to see symptoms even though I really didn't have the "illness" at all. A lot of things are in your mind, and if you think you ****ed yourself up and dwell on it you have stress yourself out and start seeing symptoms. Thats the only thing I can think of for your case if a doctor cant diagnose you with anything. Are you sure you dont have a thyroid problem? Anyways, good luck man. I think I am going to stop the ECA and start lipoflame instead and see how that goes.

It cant be in the mind coz there are real effects here like very high BP, Red nose, high heart rate, constant burping, dizziness (to the extent where i cant walk), numbness in the legs at times...

Yup, no thryoid issues, all blood results came back excellent. Well doctors cant say coz they haven't done a detailed test. I might need to get a MRI, check my intestines for the air, visit an ENT specialist for the nose... when i get the $$$ i'll go.

Glad u stopped the eca, much better! your body will love you!

Cut down on the amount of ephedra you're taking. Also, it could be your diet.
At one point, I was taking a whole pill of ephedra with a low carb diet (don't ask), PWO I was about to feint and really felt like dying. Anyways, i've increased my carb intake and cut back to half a pill of ephedra (2.5mg's), and everything's good (along with fatburners). I can take 5 MG's of ephedra now pre workout, but it doesn't really make much of a difference compared to half a pill (my heartrate is just as high when working out and I sweat and feel just as much energy as a whole pill).

Btw with ephedra you need to be drinking shitloads of water as that stuff makes me sweat buckets when I cardio.

Well the thing is i only took it for 2 days! And this was a month ago! Been drug free for the last 1 month, yet the effects are still there.

Anyways i have narrowed it down 100% now to high BP. All tests, exams, etc came back negative, so not sure how the BP got high coz of the ephedra, esp since i have taken so many supps, even real gear many times and never had an issue.

But you are right, it could be the carbs coz at the same time when i started ephedra i cut my carbs big time, barely eat 1 meal of carbs. Another thing is for the last 2 days i have been eating fruits/vegetables and drinking fresh juice every 2 hours, thats it. And my dry mouth/low saliva, and even my diziness has completely vanished!

But bp is still there not sure what is wrong, esp since sugar is normal, heart is ok and kidneys are ok...

So after speaking to multiple doctors, they are all blaming it on the ephedra saying it is still in the system. One even said it could be an Autonomic Nervous system dyfunction casused by the ephedra. If it is that then i am screwed.

But i find it hard to believe esp since i hardly took it for 2 days (3 pills) and that was more than a month ago. I doubt those 3 pills can still be hidding in the system even a month later casuing high bp & heart palpitations!

those sound like short term effects of ephedra but still shouldnt exist a month of subsiding the use of ephedra. try to work on your cardiovascular health, keep a healthy diet, and try to lower your blood pressure. there are some good products out there, do some searches on what worked the best for BBers with BP problems, eat your Cheerios, etc good luck and stay safe.

Hi sorry to bother you but i am going thorugh the same things that you are going thorugh. Im just wondering how long it took before the effects were gone or did you take something that cleaned you out. Here is my story:

I took an ECA stack for 4 weeks (ASIA BLACK 25), one pill per day in the morning. After the end of the 4th week I felt with no energy at all. The last day I took the pill I went for a walk in the evening. After 35 minutes of walking, my heart rate went up through the roof, I felt dizzy, and my legs and arms felt weak. I stopped and went to emergency room. I was given several tests.

My cardiologist gave me several tests:
    An electrocardiogram with no issues.
An echocardiogram to look inside my heart and it came up perfect; the cardiologist told me my hearts was strong as a horse and all my valves were perfect.
A holter to monitor my heart 24 hours with no anomalies.
A stress test, he put me on the treadmill and pushed me to the limit and passed the test with flying colors.

My Personal doctor also performed blood test for everything and everything was normal. Also a sonogram of my thyroids, liver and pancreas and everything was perfect.

I have been of the stack ever since the incident and it has been 2 months. The issue is that I still feel with no energy and foggy. Also when I try to walk for over 35 minutes I get the same sensation of dizziness and my legs and arms feel weak.

I’m just wondering if anyone out there went through the same issues as I did and how long before these side effects went away.

    Thank you.

You probably won't hear back as this thread is a couple of years old. Hope you feel better though.

I used to take a lot of ephedra and lost 75 pounds. I treated my body like hell, eating no food, obsessively exercising, purging and drinking little water so there is no way of knowing what symptoms came from just the ephedra, but I can tell you that I had a girlfriend pull me back from the brink and it took me at least 30 days to feel decent again. Sounds like your tests are good, so hopefully you will return to normal soon. Take it easy for a bit.
