L-glutamine is an EXTREMELY inportant supp in the speeding of protein synthesis, allows for fast muscle repair. Take L glutamine during workout .(powder is more effective) drink between sets. I would also recommend BCAAs (branch chained amino acids) for fast recovery and no soreness.

the powder is better because of the strength
caps usualy are very weak if you buy the powder the strength is up to you
its the same thing but capsules usually cost a good amount for a bottle of 120-240 1000mg caps (1gram)
when the powder comes in a kilo for 30$and gives you 200 (5 gram) servings
thats a big difference
both the same if youre gonna take 5 caps but that would be very costly
to answer original post agree with post 2 and 3 take it pre and post glutamine is a key amino acid
helps with muscle soreness
i take about 15g (powder form) post workout and about 5g prior to bed.
Lyle Mcdonald says that 2g of glutamine pre-workout can help release gh into your system AND 2g prior to bed can also help release gh while sleeping.
