Creatine and cranberry or grape juice?

Hey, so do they still recommend mixing your creatine (micronized monohydrate) with grape juice or cranberry juice? I know they used to say that, so I used to do it. Now I just take it with a protein shake. There's no real necessity to take it with the juice is there? It seems like the micronized stuff is way better at getting absorbed than the old stuff used to be. I think they said the sugars in the juice helped it get absorbed or something. Any thoughts?

As long as your not taking it with calcium your going to be good. HMB is a good supplement to take with it

Marketing ploy to get you to buy their fruit punch(or whatever flavor) pre mixed creatine so all the consumer has to do is add water.

Buy the cheapest mono powder and drop a tablespoon(i know, it's not teaspoon) on your tongue and chase it w/whatever. I've used diet coke, grapefruit, cranberry, water, milk, hell i've even put it in my coffee. Doesn't matter. I prefer o.j just cause i drink it everyday.

From what I've read juices were recommended because of the sugar aiding in absorption which is also why there is a lot of sugar in many creatine blends but a year or so ago a read an article stating that sodium was just as or more effective than sugar.

If you're eating red meats regular in your diet you may not even need to supplement but if you wanna make sure you're at max capacity then do as stated and just toss it in what ever you have at the time and go.

Yeah, thought so. I don't do it, just wondering if anyone else did.

I take my micronized creatine monohydrate with water, results are the same as taking it with fruit juice.

You can take it with any fluid except for coffee.

Take it with water, the body is great about recycling what it has. Sugar may help during loading, but loading isn't a necessity either anyways.

You should switch to a proper micronized creatine mono bro, it sounds like you are holding on to an ancient technology of creatine with your hot water and dissolving issues.

I mix mine in warm tea and it disolves almost the entire amount of creatine.
