    Protein shakes vs. protein shots

I like to use whey protein shots vs the shakes. I don't like that FULL feeling from the shakes and I can get all my protein down in one quick gulp! How do you all feel about the shots? Any con's I am not aware of?

full feeling? are you sure it not a weight gainer your taking? because a scoop of whey is only 35-40g at most and that wouldnt fill a hole in my tooth

just add less water, I only use about 250ml per scoop if there is no oats being added, you could make the shots yourself too, they twice the price for virtually the same thing

protein shots? so is that subQ in the gut or deep IM??????

if deep IM, i'd recommend skipping the fiber blast, as that can gum up the syringe =)

Well, i would deff say protein powder due to it having much more nutritional value (vitamins, minerals, glutamine, fiber, etc). Not sure what you are trying to accomplish. Is this for a meal replacement or just to bump your protein up? I think most people would say only one shake a day due to its fat and cholesterol (plus the body prefers food over shake). If your looking for something to boost your protein intake, then drink eggwhites. They are hella cheap and and have virtually nothing in them but protein. They taste like water too! I buy them by the cartons! pasteurized of coarse..

Abe never thought about that. I just want to get my protein in. Taste like water huh? Thanks for the info...I'll have to give it a try!

Yeah man, youll be complete surprised how easy it is to drink. It even has the same consistency as water pretty much and it is both cheaper and healthier then shakes. Its actually the only way i am able to meet my pro macro requirement.
