    Green Tea Extract

I was wondering if anyone has taken green tea extract to help them in losing weight?

The supplement I purchased has 400mg of green tea extract per dose.

If you do take it, how many times a day and should you avoid taking it close to bed time?

    Thanks!!!

    Mate,

Of the tens of thousands of people in this country that take green tea extract, if it really worked in helping them lose weight, we'd be hearing about it in the news. and fast.

The moral of the story is that there really are not any short cuts to losing weight beyond a calorie deficit diet, and a healthy dose of cardio.

Sorry to break it to you. Bottom line to lose weight is that your input has to be less than your output.

    Good luck!

    ---Roman

Pretty much the only benefit of green tea are the antioxidant properties. It's touted for its fat burning potential but that's all marketing poo-poo.

I drink it instead of a morning coffee.

I've been drinking the bottled green tea by the case then my kid pointed out to me it has the "wrong" kind of sweetener. Damn!

Ya I buy the powdered form. Unsweetened. Tastes like feet but no sugary additive. Marsala is supposedly the highest for antioxidant benefits.

I drink about a gallon of green tea per day. I like the taste and I know it has some antioxidant health benefits but cant really say I've lost any fat directly from the green tea.

I believe it to aids in fat loss, it by no means makes u loose fat, not a bad additive to a clean as fk calorie deficient diet, cardio ect, plus I wouldn't even bother if I was above 10%

I drink 2 cups of green tea a day as I believe it AIDS (no its not a miracle drug) in fatloss and also has a bit of a diuretic effect. I also figure if the Asian's use it I'll use it, because we all know those fukers don't age! lol

agreed its a great antixodiant. i drink a couple cups per day, find it helps boost my immune system. as far as fat loss goes don't expect much, very low stimulant content, contains about 4mg of caffeine per 400mg
