    Supplement Guide / Info

    Guys / Girls:

Found this site recently and thought it was very good. I've conversed with its owner/creator and it is expanding constantly. Owner calls himself a vitamin / science nerd. Some good info there. Check it out!

The first thing I looked at was whether or not your link provider sold these very same supplement he is commenting on. It appears the "buy" link takes you to Amazon (I didn't verify). So hopefully that removes some bais. I doubled checked Tribulus, a contraversial test booster, and his opinion is spot on... no conclusive scientific data to support.

So at a very high level, it seems to be ok.....

So far that's what I'm thinking. He plans on expanding his research and I don't think he's really branched into the "money" aspect of it yet. We'll see, but as long as his info is good then it's a good resource.

    I'm from Examine.

I can state 100% that we only care about the truth. Our buy link simply takes you to Amazon and the search results for the generic name. No brand name, no sorting, no nothing - just whatever Amazon decides to show first.

In regards to truth vs selling - other than tribulus (a good example of us going against popular belief), check out our page on glutamine - touted as a muscle builder, we clearly state that is not true (for most of the population).

We pride ourselves on being as objective as possible - a few times we've had to reverse our own statements, and we are okay with that. Our internal motto is "Researching the Truth", and with 8500+ citations, I think we are making good progress on that.

I encourage you to read our blog - as we use it as a place to summarize our weekly research and also rebuttals for common media items (eg the sensationalism over fish oil recently).

Lastly, and most importantly - we are always looking to be more accurate. If you see anything wrong, please do not hesitate in contacting us.

    so far so good.

I also note that you reference your statements with cites to bona fide medical journals/articles and other scientific data.

I've bookmarked your site and will spend more time looking at it (after the football games today!)

    nice job mate.

how did you know I was commenting about you so quick?

We keep an eye on referrer traffic. We often get accused of being biased (or of being "a random website with no references" ... sigh), but about the only time I remember us being actually wrong was when we were not pedantic enough in regards to creatine dosing.

Would you be open to suggestions on what to research next? Or is it all internal, let me know, thanks!

Can't promise you anything, but feedback has had a heavy weight on what we research next.

Well I was going to suggest phenylethylamine, but I saw theres no research associated with it to be found. Please update if you do!

Yeah, a lot of stuff gets thrown out with minimal research. DMAA and raspberry ketones are at the top of that list.

Yup, you aint kidding. Been a guinea pig on DMAA for a while. One question I posed to PA (never got an answer) was when the orginal EPHARM Amp came out years ago and the possible effects DMAA has on Beta-2 rec. Through my use of supps containing DMAA my body seems to have adjusted to the compound and I have experienced diminished benefits, almost to the point of no benefit at all. Thats why I switched to DS craze as I read many positive reviews and there appears to be no DMAA in the supp (correct me if I'm wrong of course). I'm getting the 'good old' feeling on Craze I used to get on supps containing DMAA.

    Thoughts? Thx.

Yep Craze does not have DMAA.

Anecdotally - I've heard great stuff. But looking at the ingredients, no species of Dendrobium has stimulatory compounds known to be in them and phenethylamines are in many things and not potent enough to account for what people feel with DS Craze. It's a bit off an oddity.

Interesting. Love to know what the 'mystery' compound is.
