Low testosterone blood results / supplements
Hi all,
I posted a thread about two weeks ago regarding my low test. Blood labs. Originally my test was 299, but now reads 373 with a free test of 106.
I have no symptoms what so ever.
My concern is how to naturally raise testosterone through a cycle of Vitamin D, Magnesium, an Zinc.
Why levels/dosage would you recommend for boosting testosterone ?
I am 20, and weight 200lbs.
Thanks,
Austin

check out Austinite's Articles,
Austinite's Educational Article Database
the only thing you can do to rise your test levels with supplements is to lower your E2 and SHBG if they are high. all supplements that claim to boor test are bogus.

Are my free test levels in range ? I have no noticeable symptoms and am very concerned because my endocrinologist is oblivious to what constitutes a normal range for actual specific age groups.

I am 20 years old, 200 lbs, bench 330 (reference to build and physical state)
Total testosterone is 373
Free testosterone is 106.
The units used were not given.
The range is usually 240-800, although this encompasses all age groups ubiquitously, making it irrelevant.

That's low. Any steroids use? Antidepressants? Testicular or head trauma?

No, never to any of those.
My free test was regular though, right ?

I guess I'm king of confused by what you mean by range.
Normally free test is considered "normal" if between 40-210 when measured in Ng/dl

Not all labs are made equal, so we always need your results with the ranges provided. The range is the acceptable range of numbers. Numbers only don't mean anything.
If that's the range, then 106 is fine.~ PLEASE DO NOT ASK FOR SOURCE CHECKS ~

Then if my free test is in range, why is my total test so egregiously low--without any symptoms ?
As I said before, very concerned because no one seems to have answers (my endocrinologist , primary care doctor, etc.).
Their answer is always a machinistic "no, your fine"

They're saying you're fine because your free test is what you utilize. Total is not.
These results aren't even remotely close to diagnosing anything. You need LH, full thyroid panel, SHBG, DHEAs, D, etc...
If you have more labs, post them in the HRT section for review.~ PLEASE DO NOT ASK FOR SOURCE CHECKS ~
