    Supps while on gear

While on a cycle. Are supplements other than protein and a multi vitamin worth taking?

Prior to starting this cycle I was taking both; plus BCAA's, CLA's, EFA's, Pre workout, post workout, and creatine. Im on a tren hex, test e cycle.

I avoid all protein sups. Just not comparable to real food. No pre or post workout supps.

Vitamins are most certainly worth it. I'm not a fan of mult vitamin compounds. You have no control over the ratio's of each vitamin.

Thank austinite! What about taking EFAs and CLAs while trying to cut on cycle. Do they help really or just a waist while on cycle.

They don't hurt. Most supplements have some benefit to them. I guess some could be beneficial if you don't count your macros. Otherwise I personally don't use anything. NO is about the only thing I'm playing with but I will be making my own because I couldn't find a capsule that had both L-cysteine and L-arginine combined.

I've done just about every supp known to man. Honestly, the more I focused on just food, the better my results were. Food and supplementation with Vitamins.

Yeah i agree food is more impt than anything else. I once went crazy on supps for 3months but the results were not as good as a clean, solid diet for a month.

I have to agree that when I eat clean and focus to make sure I'm getting enough (I tend to forget to eat) that my results are better than when I was taking all the supplements. Plus most of them I took made me feel like crap. I will say though that I do add in a protein shake because at times Im having a hard time getting all the protein I need from my food. The first time I did a cycle I focused really hard on supplementation and wasnt all that concerned with diet, I mostly looked at making sure I had enough calories, and my gains were so-so. Next time I did the exact same cycle, trained the same, cut out half the supplements but ate a very organized diet and my gains sky rocketed.

My approach= Nutrition always, add the gear at predetermined intervals, and fill in any gaps with moderate supplementation.

I also wont take anything that has a "Proprietary Blend" in the label without completely breaking down its components.
