    Creatine

    Hello everyone,
I'm starting creatine today and I've bought some regular monohydrate powder from the UNIVERSAL brand. I've been told to take around 10g / day (one scoop a few hours before gym and another one right after gym). Is it a proper way to take it? Thank you everyone

A lot of people take 20g a day during a seven day loading process then drop down to 5g a day for maintenance.

As long as your taking 10g per day I don't think it's imperative how you take it, but I take it 5g at night and 5g in the morning. This is just so my body isn't trying to process it while I'm working out (I'm.sure I read that creatine monohydrate takes approx 8 hours to get into.the.muscle, not sure how correct this is!)

Before and after your workout is a busy time for your body, so I choose this way to try and lighten the load/strain on my body.

The creatine thread is a interesting read, and defo worth the time.

Some people says that loading phase isn't necessary and some people says it's good...So I'm kinda lost hahaha! I heard that the creatine was getting destroyed if absorbed along with acid things such as apple juice / orange juice. Is it true?

I take 5g per day never cycle, i got a BCAA supplement with glutamine and creatine. There is no reason to load with 20g for 7 days. I love creatine BCAA glutamine and arginine combo.

An initial loading phase could be recommended. There's no harm in taking extra creatine, your body will just dispose of what it doesn't need. You're not going to have any negative results from loading and theres no reason to cycle creatine, from what I've learned about it.

On my current diet I only take creatine 3 days out of 7 to increase carb loading and aid power workouts. It normally just take 10g per day.

I've made a lot of research recently and most of studies says that taking creatine for too long (not cycling) can harm your waists and make your body stop producing creatine naturaly when you stop taking it...
