Getting ready to order more supplements, suggestions?

Usually I have a typical amount of supplements that I get each time I order them. This time i'm looking for the best for the money, but some I may or may not need. My Wife and I found out we're going to be parents earlier this month, so keeping costs down as much as we can would be great.

    So far I have:

Gaspari Intra pro (might be expensive, but i've had some nasty stuff and the protein is something I don't like to skimp out on if possible)
Arginine 1000 mg tabs which aren't expensive... gives me the extra strength to do that extra rep or 2 and helps out with the wood (any other amino acids that might be helpful?)
    R-ala
    Opti-men multi
42 fruits and vegtables. Also not expensive, but I like to take anything that is good for combating any issue with cancer since it runs in my family
Doctor's best MSM 1000 mg tabs. Back and shoulder have inflammation, back has several buldging discs, a torn disc, a crack in my spine. My back and shoulder both have osteoarthritis, the shoulder has other issues as well, but can only be corrected with surgery.
    Vitamin C 1000 mg
    Fish oil of course
CLA to help with weight maintaining as well as other obvious reasons.

Anything I don't need or I should add?

I already have Ubiquinol still left, as well as garlic, green tea extract (which doesn't impress me weight loss wise), BCAA's, creatine.

Hey buddy. I'm only twenty and I've trialled with pretty much all the supplements and many more until I've recently worked out my essentials. In my opinion, you can easily achieve your goals with just the following: whey protein, fish/flaxseed oil and a multivitamin. Although I've researched about supplements a fair bit and I've come to the conclusion that there are many other beneficial supplements to help you achieve your goals.

My current supplements are: multivitamins (everyday, obviously to provide vitamins and nutrients), whey protein (post workout, essential to build muscle and promote growth), casein protein (before bed, long lasting protein throughout the night and you wake up hungry which is a good thing), flaxseed oil (everyday, provides essential fatty acids), glutamine powder (post workout, aids in repairing broken down muscle fibres after a workout), BCAA powder (before workout, helps you to workout longer and feeds your muscles with essential amino acids), beta alanine powder (before workout, non essential amino acid which gives you tingling sensation without added caffeine and other stimulants).

I will keep some of those in mind to possibly add. I have thought about casein on a few occasions, milk is a good source of that as well, but the sugar in it isn't the best either.

I've used CLA before and I think it's a waste of money personally. You could spend money elsewhere. Also with your back back and joints, you could look into some glucosamine? It's apparently really good for joint support. Forty two fruits and vegetables - is that a supplement?

I actually used NOW's G+C for joints and honestly felt no relief from it. I used it about a month or more. I know other brands are said to work better so I don't know. The fruits and vegtables are just a mix of a lot of berry extracts and stuff like that. It sounded like it would be full of antioxidants though which may be good for disease prevention. Of course all fresh foods would be much more ideal, but quite honestly fresh food costs wayyyyy more money on a serving to supplement ratio.
The MSM I have done some research on and I feel like it will help me a lot with my inflammation problems in my back. It's sort of one of those things that you say what is enough? Hard to decide.

IMO CLA is a waste of money. Opti-men multi is a solid multi but if i can recommend something else... "Source Naturals" Life Force & "SAN" Dr. Feel Good are two very solid multis. Gaspari Intra Pro is great but it is pricey.

So which whey would you all recommend that doesn't taste terrible? Seems like most highly rated proteins are expensive.

If you look on EBAY there are some quality whey proteins around. It's important to look at the servings in the tub, the size of the scoop and how much protein there is per serve. For example. Optimim whey has something like 24G of protein in a 29G scoop, so it means there aren't many extra additives in it. Some other proteins I see have like 28G protein in a 40G scoop which is just ridiculous.

    I'm personally using Optimum whey.

Optimum whey or Dymatize Elite Whey Isolate are the best proteins ive found. Also considering your problems with a bad back, shoulder, etc., you might want to consider calcium supplement. High doses of vit c and e have been shown to help decrease inflammation, repair tissue, strengthen cartlidge, etc.

I ordered the San vitamins, animal omega paks and the Dymatize whey. I plan on adding a bit more skim milk to my diet and as above yes a ZMA supplement later on as well.

If you haven't ordered yet go threw buildingbrawn. They have protien almost in bulk and all the other things they sell (pretty much Anthony you can imagine) is extremely cheap
