    Creatine, again

I'm wondering what, if anything, u guys recommend for pre-workout drink that DOESN'T have Creatine. I think out of stupidity and not paying attention, I've been taking way too much, for a while.

For my pre-workout drink, I use C4 (which has Creatine) I add 2 Teaspoons of Micronized Creatine to that, and then my post workout drink, Dark Matter has more Creatine. Of course they don't say how much because it's a proprietary blend.

I don't care what anyone says that "Creatine Bloat" is bullshit, because I think I'm suffering from it. It just came on real quick. Too quick to be fat gain. I'm still maintaining a 32 inch waist, and I can still see my abs. I just feel so friggin' bloated. Especially in the upper abs. And this has been happening since I've been injesting all this Creatine.

I might just go back to a plain old cup of coffee with some lite cream and sugar.

    Thanx guys.

P.S. I don't think it's the Test E or Deca either. I've been cycling up for 4 weeks and this bloat has been happening way before that.

You could try concocting your own preworkout. Arginine, caffeine, beta alanine, niacin, dmaa could be fun!

This bloat thing reminds my of a story...
2-3 Olympics ago, one nations best hope for gold in decathlon...the athlete was awesome leading up to the Olympics...kicked serious butt...of course the pipe bomber hit that year, but anyway, so did creatine...the new booster"" for athletic performance. He used it basically just right before ot at the Olympics without knowing what he was doing. He did alright until the mile run..ran like a bloated cow......the doctors at the time diagnosed "dehydration" and did him no favor by giving him IV hydration which made him even more bloated...guy went from a contender to dog meat in less than a week.
Know what you want with creatine.
    Learn from it
Use it for what it may be...increased cell volume may tighten things up and allow strength gains, but volumes can be said in athletics about being able to move, be loose, and agile. And light. And be able to breath.
    Just FYI.

C4 only has a gram of creatine, as like most preworkouts 1-2 grams.
dark matter apparently contains 5g according to one of their reps, so you're looking at 6g which I presume is what most people use daily.

Is dark matter expensive ?? I find it much cheaper to make my own post workout shake from bulk powders.

    Glucose or Gatorade powder
    Whey
    30g oats
    Creatine
    Beta alanine
    Bcaa's

I don't include creatine found in my pre workout and dose 2 teaspoons in my postworkout. Not seeing any "bloat" issues with that...

What do you mean loose, agile and able to move?

We had an athlete in my high school who was top 5 in the state in all three sports he played. Lacrosse, wrestling and football. His best was wrestling and he swore by creatine. I don't think it takes flexibility away or agility. Probably does nothing for distance runners

Right. 2 scoops of of C4 = let's say, 2 gms. of Creatine.
I add a Tablespoon of Micronized Creatine = 10 gms. Serving size is a Teaspoon which equals 5 gms.
Dark Matter = about another 5 gms.

    So I'm looking at 16-17 gm.s of Creatine a day. I train about 6 times a week.

I'm just saying from what I feel is that after ur muscles are saturated, does the Creatine continue to pull so much water in, that in then become subcontaneaous (SP?).

I guess I'll find out. I'm laying off all Creatine, except what is in my Dark Matter.

That amount seems overboard to me (just in my experience). Have you found any added benefit in dosing that high instead of the 'norm' of 5g/day?

I meant i'm going to use it before cardio in the mornings. Not fasted cardio. Apologies.
Thanks for the catch. I've probably made that mistake more than once

In my opinion no preworkout product has enough creatine in it to make u bloat and if u r supplementing creatine u should take a month off here and there. Some ppl bloat but some do not. I personally do not use anything except a protein drink for preworkout most of the time although products like jacked and c4 r great u shouldnt always depend on them. Spend a little time away from the stims.
