    Protein when cutting

I'm going to start a cutting diet of egg whites oats chicken and rice but I'm wondering is it ok to have a protein recovery RTD after workouts as it has a fair amount of sugar in it but ive always thought that this will all be absorbed by the body as its depleted after working out.
    Please help guys ?

I would most certainly avoid all simple sugars when cutting.

When I say simple sugars, most fruit and all dairy is included in this list.

As for the ''my body will absorb simple sugars as opposed to turning them into fat since it is depleted after WO'' argument, this is quite bold. If your body has not already been in a state of ketosis for an X amount of time, then you are probably never completely depleted, meaning that majority of PWO simple sugars will at least partially halt the process of your metabolism attacking its own fat reserves, simply because it won't have a reason to do so.
