    Vitamin C

In terms of Vitamin C - does it matter what kind of tablet I take? I was taking Ester-C and switched to just the standard Walmart white chalky looking non-chewable tablet. However, I want to be sure I'm actually absorbing it (I take 1000 mg in the morning).

Thanks kelkel... it seems like this site states that Ester-C is a better choice and that Vitamin C helps keep cortisol in check as well as works to fight dementia. Is that an accurate interpretation?

    Thanks again!

I think most OTC supps are highly overrated, imho.

if you are eating well, with pplenty of fresh veggies and some fruit, there really is not much of a need beyond a simple multi.

Having said that, I too consume 1gram of vit c daily...........

I hear ya Times Roman. Personally, I'm leery of people who say most folks are deficient. That said, I think there is a big difference between optimal levels and deficiency. I've always taken Vitamin C for the cortisol benefit.
