I heard no-xplode, jacked, musclepharm, etc.. can cause painful pumps during leg workouts. Is this common issue? Or just a rare case for those individuals?

Cause painful pumps. No. If it did I'd be taking it every day.

oh, i see what you are saying. I stopped taking that stuff years ago. instead, i lean heavily on creatine, and things can get pretty interesting with abouut 5 grams of arginine pre workout too....

Most gym rats chase that pump.

preworkouts up your heart beat which results in high blood pressure during workout to supply oxygen and nutrients to the muscles. on leg days while doing heavy leg presses the blood ll rush towards your upper body so your heart have to work harder to pump it to legs so it ll put more stress on your heart. if u took preworkout it ll up the heart rate and put aditional stress on your heart which is already pumping hard. u should see how your body reacts to it.if u dnt feel fainted ,nausea or light heade than theres no prob
