Thread: Moving to Canada... need help.

    Moving to Canada... need help.

I've been living in the UK the past 5 years, and I've been purchasing this stuff called "Matrix Complete All in One". It's a rather hefty, filling, great tasting shake that's got HMB, Creatine, Glutamine, BCAAS, EFAs, etc. So as it says, it's pretty much all there, nullifying the need to purchase everything separately. I am scouring the internet now looking for something similar that I can purchase in Canada but I am not finding anything. Do any of you know of anything similar that I can get in Canada (Ontario), recommendations? Or could someone here direct me to a good supplement website that caters to Canada? Also looking for a good jerky supplier too if anyone knows of one. Thanks

You might want to re-edit your edit. You are clearly contravening the boards rules by fishing, you've been here long enough to know that.. Please delete that aspect of your post immediately.

Thanks but can you remove that whole sentence just to be sure?

Having been in the UK the past 5 years, I haven't had to deal with the 'hush hush' nature of the situation in North America, and I've not been here frequently since. The edit has been re-edited, at your request.

Now, if some Canadian folks could help me out with the primary question, I'd be quite thankful.

after 14 hours, the only reply I've received on the subject was to be lambasted. Truly an epic response.

There are plenty of gainers out there, none of them better than food or even a homemade gainer.

Appreciate the advice, man. Just looking for an all in one protein, with HMB and Creatine already mixed in. Makes for less prep'time and mixing on a busy schedule.

There literally lots of them in Canada. Check out that link. Its one of the best for supplements in Canada.

But like Bonaparte indicated, you cant beat solid food for nutrition.

Is there anything specific that you fellas would recommend? A great brand, tastes good, mixes well, or a good bulk deal? For instance, as I stated above, the stuff I buy here tastes awesome, mixes well, has creatine, HMB, glutamine, mct oil, efas, etc etc, and comes in a 4kg tub for around 40 GBP. I am seeing HMB is pretty costly over that way, but it's one of my favorite supplements. I may have to go without it. Typical imperatives for myself are always creatine and a good tasting (usually chocolate) protein blend. I usually pound an MRP or good low carb protein shake before bed. There's a lot of hokum on the NA market, so it's helpful for someone to recommend a specific brand, but off label enough to not rape my wallet (like EAS, which is good quality, but overpriced, etc). And yeah, I want to stock up on some Jerky too, so any beef, elk, ostrich, etc jerky lovers out there throw me a suggestion please.

I just use 100% Whey isolate.

I find the other types, that include all that other stuff, typically have too many sugars.

I'm in the Toronto area... I work with a guy who makes his own jerky - oddly enough - i won't say it's cheap but it is fantastic.
