Do you take Creatine?
I currently only use C4 as Pre workout drink. Which has Creatine Nitrate in it. I have read the creatine thread and researched on the web to. I was taking creatine mono in the past and then stopped for awhile and didn't notice a difference in work outs. My buddy's tell me that the Creatine N in C4 is plenty and the meat I eat has lots too so no need to supp.
My question if you dont mind answering is do you take creatine?

I have taken creatine four times in past and never noticed any difference. Thanks to Times talking about how it has helped him, I have been doing research on creatine. Every impartial research paper that I have read gives concrete proof that it works. The thing that it is able to do for the body amazes me. I have ordered some and plan on taking it when my shipment comes in.

From my reading, that basically if you can do 3 sets of 8 with out creatine max. Then with it you may be able to do 3 sets of 9 max. Correct me if i'm wrong but creatine does not give pump and is definetly not a stimulant, really sensation at all (except bloating and water retention) so the effects are not noticed during workout. The results are over time, so being able to lift that extra few times over weeks/months means increased strentgh and size vs not taking it at all.

I started 5g/ day about three weeks ago. First week, I considered stopping due to that bloat look/feel. I continued taking it, but upped my water consumption to a gal/day and the bloat left and the abs returned. Is this possible? It could be my imagination. Anyway, I don't know yet if it's doing anything strength-wise. We'll see.

I have been taking ON Micronized Creatine Monohydrate 5gr post-workout only during both bulking and cutting for the past 4 years, results still amaze me.
As I have stated many times before, Creatine Mono is the closest supplement to AAS for me, it works wonders for me and I don't think that I will ever stop using it as long as I continue to lift.

In order to get 5g of creatine w/o supplementation you would need to consume ~2.5lbs of meat daily.
There is a bunch of BS hype over "designer" creatine forms and blends.
It has been shown that normal creatine monohydrate is superior all around.
Here is the article http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/arti...rticle_874.pdf
Creatine monohydrate is a must have supplement for me. No need to load just take 5g daily. I take mine post workout.
Creatine is an all gain supplement. And its cheap. Win win all around.

Test claim its proven to work, you would have to have more than what is in your pre workouts. I been taking serving with pre workout and after with shake and cant tell a difference, 4 weeks now..

Don't take it but do not take much for supplements as am under my genetic potential currently. I do not do powders and actually intake meat. Just under a kilo of meat a day at a caloric deficit and having good weight loss. It is on my list to check out once I am at bf% and my meat intake lessens with my TDEE. Everyone I know IRL takes it as religious and they are all protien shake guys. Powder begets powder.
