    Egg Protein Help

I have been using Optimum Nutrition Egg Protein (blue/black label) but its kinda expensive and I want to swap. I found some protein elsewhere but I'm confused if the powder above is egg yolk + whites or just whites? I'm also confused as to whether it contains the same ingredients or if its worth paying the extra buck for a better? quality product.

Just buy egg whites in a carton from the store. Protein is expensive no matter what you do.

or get your eggs in bulk and just eat the whole egg. I eat at least 6 eggs / day and my lipids are fine....

Yep, The fat and cholesterol thing is overblown. I use a few whole eggs each day too. The yolk has most of the protein and all kinds of good stuff.

I started drinking egg whites in the carton. Sometimes I mix in a scoop of ovaltine. Tastes like a protien shake to me. Plus I eat eggs too. I have cut down to 3 or 4 protien shakes a week. Don't think I will buy anymore once it is gone. To much fake sweetner IMO.

I cannot buy eggs or liquid egg as its 'not allowed' in my house (strict veges). I just buy egg powder and claims its whey so i can eat it lol. Any ideas?

I don't see a problem with it other than the price. Buying eggs is just cheaper. Maybe just buy some whey protein and mix it with whole milk? That's what I do.

If the label says it contains a lot of fat then it is likely whole eggs. If fat is almost zero it is egg whites.

In reality it should really have the ingredients on the label, if it doesn't I wouldn't go near it.
