    oh, it's a multi vit/min?

anything your body doesn't use right there on the spot (with the exception of some fat soluable vits) goes down the toilet when you go to take a leak.

I used to take tons of supps when I was younger, and man! what a waste!

Focus on getting what your body needs through proper nutrition, not a supp.

But yes, years ago, I was trying everything, so I can't be overly critical because I was the same way

    Cheers!

Beta Alanine is meh... ok. Copper is good. everything else is weak weak weak. That's about it, Doom. It would be like taking a couple of "One a day Mens" multivitamin. Nothing special, my friend. Sorry.

I take the stuff I get from Costco, and really don't give it much other thought.

If i'm going to worry about something, I'll worry I'm eating too many carbs, or I'm about to run out of creatine, or something like that.

I rarely think about my multivitamin.

As the years go by, I learn to take less and less other supps too. But this also means my diet has to be pretty good too.

Here's what I think, for what it's worth

    Basic multivitamin
    creatine
    fish oil
    resveratrol (for me)
calcium w/D (it's a bone density thing for us older bulls)

and that's what I think I would need as a minimum.

Costco huh? Do you walk in and ask for a Desk of multivitamins along with a hammock of protein powder? Maybe a barrel of olive oil?

I have yet to come across one. The problem is that manufacturers (understandably) want you to take a single pill. Well, there's only so much you can pack into a pill. What happens at that point is they pack the majority of the pill with the least expensive ingredient(s). Generally the inexpensive ingredients are the ones we don't really need anyway because they're abundant in food, and demand is low, that's why it's cheap. The expensive stuff ends up in micro quantities and you end up with 10mcg of B12 for example. So no, there isn't anything out there really that is worth it. This is why if someone wants to truly benefit, they need to supplement individually. I'm working on my own Multi-vitamin that actually works.

They also know that 99% of the consumers do not read or research labels, and when they look at labels, the look at how much crap is packed into it and think "WOW, I'm getting all that?". The 99% is who they target. Money money money.
