Not at all. People have been saying this for over a decade now and no real evidence shows that it is toxic. The complaint is about the addition of stearic acid. Which they fail to tell you that it's found in your everyday foods. It's a saturated fat. Obviously like anything else, moderation is key, so excess of anything can be harmful. Dark chocolate, coconut oil, beef, olive oil for example all contain this fat. Several grams per serving, too. So the amounts you're intaking from supplements is incredibly negligible.
