Serious need of a sleep aid

As the title says i'm in serious need of something to help out with my sleeping pattern that i can safely take year round or for long periods of time. Iv'e tried all the don't watch tv, black out you're blinds, no caffeine before bed ect. Also used temazepam, diazepam, nitrazepam, zopiclone and ambien with no luck. The time that i get to sleep and with the new job im getting it would work out id only be getting 2 - 3 hours maximum of sleep a night. Any ideas with any supplements that may help here...i also found the drugs i mentioned not very effective and non addictive in any way at all and was able to stop them with no problem.

5mg melatonin and 400mg Magnesium is exactly what my TRT doctor recommended. If I am really having an issue I may double up on it. You will wake up pretty refreshed with a dopey feeling for about 5-10 minutes and then all clear. Not like those sleeping pills.

Iv'e heard about melatonin but never tried it and im sure someone mentioned Magnesium can be used as a muscle relaxant for sleep aid. Ill give them a try...the strange part about the sleeping tablets i used the only one that cause next day grogginess was the zopiclone all the rest i woke up fresh from but just never wanted to continue using as the dosage was creeping up quite fast

It's just Benadryl, an allergy medicine and works for some (my fiancé) but doesn't make me drowsy in the slightest. If it does work for you, save your money and get a generic branded box of Benadryl ;-)

May be out there but i use the old left handed cigarette to get to sleep. Added bonus they make you hungry too.
